We are a company producing walnuts from Spain in Montijo, Extremadura, and distributing nuts and other functional foods, specialized in Spanish walnuts from our own harvest. “Nueces Ibéricas”

Our walnuts from Spain and the rest of our products are recognized for their bio-healthy properties. At our orchard “El Charnecal” in Badajoz, we grow our Spanish walnuts, ripened under the sun of Extremadura, Spain.

We started planting our own walnut trees in 2005 and, since then, we have been in constant growth, expanding beyond walnuts from Spain to a wider range of high-quality nuts.

We also produce a significant number of walnut plants in our nursery.

About us

Our farm El Charnecal, located in the Vegas Bajas del Guadiana, enjoys extraordinary conditions for walnut cultivation.

We harvest our Spanish walnuts at their optimal ripening stage. In our facilities, the walnuts are slowly dried in special dryers to preserve their full aroma and flavor. Thanks to this process, the walnuts are ready for sale within 3 days. This way, we can offer you the freshest Spanish walnuts of the highest quality, with their unmistakable flavor.

Currently, we have two main walnut varieties, Howard and Chandler. They are characterized by their sweet flavor and their very light color.

Why our walnuts

We produce our walnuts with care and dedication throughout the year to offer you a walnut full of flavor. The sun of Extremadura helps ripen the fruit on the walnut tree, and we harvest it at its optimal moment.

The processing of the walnuts is carried out in our facilities using completely natural methods, which is why we hold the Global GAP quality certification.

Our two walnut varieties, Howard and Chandler, are characterized by their very light color and distinctively sweet flavor.

In addition, our walnut harvest in Spain is three weeks earlier than the first French walnuts and one month earlier than American walnuts, making them the earliest walnuts available in Europe.

Our nursery

We also produce a significant number of walnut, olive, and pistachio plants in our nursery.

We oversee the entire growth process of the plants in our nursery, as well as their subsequent planting on our orchard, until they begin producing our Spanish walnuts. Our nursery of in vitro and grafted plants is located in Montijo (Badajoz), Spain.
